In the year of 1967, Billy was only 16 years old and received an album by John Mayall called ”A Hard Road” in his hand. It would for all times change his life to devotedly study, listen to and play blues. That same year he got the opportunity to see and listen to Jimi Hendrix live. Experiences that have a deep impact on a young man’s life. Some twenty years ago Billy met Kristine, and she had the same interest in the music and the Blues. Billy and Kristine have walked the blues highway since then. Their fascination has only grown during the years and they have frequently travelled into the roots of the blues ever since. The idea to write a book about it grew over time and now finally they have been able to produce their own book to participate in and to persevere the blues for everyone to understand its importance, and its impact on the music history in modern time. During the 80’s Billy had the privilege to move around in the music world in the southern of Sweden and has worked with Swedish musicians such as Peps Persson, Jalle Lorensson, Mikael Wiehe, Ulf Lundell, Fjellis Fjallstrom, Hakan Nyberg etc. Kristine and Billy both live in Malmo, in the Swedish south, and has travelled the blues highway 61 to live the blues and take photos to inspire others to do the same. They write under pseudonyms for readers in English.
