Today, Thursday, September 5, Blues Blast magazine has announced the winners for its 17th annual Blues Blast Music Awards.Three Alligator Records artists won a total of six awards.

Rick Estrin & The Nightcats received the coveted Band Of The Year Award, along with the award for Contemporary Blues Album Of The Year, for their critically acclaimed release, The Hits Keep Coming.

GRAMMY Award-winner Christone "Kingfish" Ingram received three awards: Male Blues Artist Of The Year, Electric Guitarist Of The Year and Live Album Of The Year, for 2023's Live In London.

Kenny "Beedy Eyes" Smith, drummer from The Cash Box Kings, won for Percussionist Of The Year.
