On Friday, November 10, 2023, The Recording Academy announced the nominees for the 2024 GRAMMY Awards. Guitarist, vocalist and songwriter Christone "Kingfish" Ingram's new album, Live In London, is nominated for a GRAMMY Award in the Contemporary Blues category. All three of Kingfish's albums – 2019's Kingfish, 2021's GRAMMY-winning 662, and now Live In London – have received GRAMMY nominations.
“To be nominated for another GRAMMY Award is fantastic. Thanks to the Recording Academy and all of the folks who bought and streamed Live In London. It is a real special album for me,” said Kingfish. “I also want to congratulate my friends and fellow nominees across the Contemporary and Traditional Blues categories. I’m very excited for us all and look forward to celebrating in person in February.”
