NINE ALLIGATOR RECORDS ARTISTS RECEIVE FIFTEEN 2021 LIVING BLUES AWARD NOMINATIONS
Shemekia Copeland Leads All Alligator Artists With Four
Living Blues magazine has announced the nominees for the 2021 Living Blues Readers' Awards. Nine Alligator Records artists received a total of 15 nominations. Vocalist Shemekia Copeland leads all Alligator nominees with four. Christone "Kingfish" Ingram, Tinsley Ellis and Charlie Musselwhite received two nominations each. And Rick Estrin (of Rick Estrin & The Nightcats), Billy Branch Roomful Of Blues, Lil' Ed & The Blues Imperials and Marcia Ball each received one.
The public -- Living Blues subscribers and non-subscribers alike -- can vote at www.livingblues.com by June 15, 2021. Winners will be announced shortly thereafter.
