Four Alligator Artists Receive Six Living Blues Award Nominations
Living Blues magazine has announced the nominees for the 2016 Living Blues Readers' Awards. Four Alligator Records artists received a total of six nominations. Shemekia Copeland received three, including Blues Artist Of The Year (Female), Best Blues Album Of 2015 (New Recordings) for Outskirts Of Love and Best Live Performer. Marcia Ball, Lil' Ed & The Blues Imperials and Tommy Castro each received one nomination.
The public -- subscribers and non-subscribers alike -- can vote at www.livingblues.com or by mailing in the ballot in the current issue of the magazine (#243), by July 15, 2016.
Winners will be announced in August.
