ALLIGATOR RECORDS ARTISTS JOE LOUIS WALKER, CURTIS SALGADO AND MICHAEL "IRON MAN" BURKS RECEIVE MAPLE BLUES AWARD NOMINATIONS
Alligator Records recording artists Joe Louis Walker, Curtis Salgado and the late Michael "Iron Man" Burks received Maple Blues Award nominations in the B.B. King International Artist Of The Year category. The 16th annual Awards presentation will be held in Toronto at Koerner Hall on January 21, 2013. The Maple Blues Awards, presented by the Toronto Blues Society, are Canada's national blues awards. Their goal is to promote blues music across Canada, and to recognize outstanding achievement in the field.
