Guitarist/vocalist/songwriter Anders Osborne will soon hit the road solo and acoustic, opening shows for reggae giants Toots & The Maytals. The dates will begin in late October with performances scheduled into late November. Osborne, whose latest CD, Black Eye Galaxy, is being hailed as a career best, has just finished recording a partially acoustic, "stripped down" EP, set for release early next year. It will be available at stores, on-line and in-person at all of Anders' performances. Osborne recently taped an episode of NPR's eTown along with bluesman Robert Cray. The show is set to air the week of November 28.
