THE BLUES FOUNDATION TO INDUCT LEGENDARY LONNIE BROOKS INTO THE BLUES HALL OF FAME
Blues legend Lonnie Brooks is among the 2010 inductees into the Blues Foundation's Blues Hall Of Fame. The induction ceremony will be held on May 5, 2010, at the Memphis Marriott Downtown in Memphis, Tennessee, the night before the 31st annual Blues Music Awards. Brooks, a Louisiana native, played with Clifton Chenier, recorded with Jimmy Reed, toured with Sam Cooke and recorded six groundbreaking albums for Alligator beginning in 1979.
