Jimmy Rogers played lead guitar in Muddy Water's first blues band in Chicago, he was also a great singer and songwriter himself. Chicago Bound and Sloppy Drunk were some of his big hits. You can also hear on this session Jimmy´s son Jimmy Rogers Jr., John Primer, Willie Kent and the great Billy Branch. Big Moose got famous with his sessions on piano with Earl Hooker, but also has great recordings by himself. On this CD, with the same band like on the Rogers recordings, he sings blues classics like Anna Lee and more.
