Eddie Shaw , Hound Dog Taylor , Johnny 'Big Moose' Walker
Chicago Blues Volume 1. From C.J. Records [CD]
Carl Jones was a Label-owner in the 1960´s and 70´s in Chicago. He recorded artists who had no contract with Chess or Vee-Yay. Chicago had enough musicians, that you can hear on this CD. Johnny 'Big Moose' Walker was a great piano player, Hound Dog Taylor plays on this CD his hit Christine, Little Mac Simmons was a great harp player and Eddie Shaw is a great sax-player & bandleader. This is not "the second raw" of Chicagos Blues artists, these are some of the best!
